went to watch beauty world with darling this afternoon. the musical is nice. quite funny too. haha. "oh ivy.." haha.
the story line... beware of spoiler..
it's about this girl who was told she is an orphan until her 19th birthday when everything seems to change for her. she's not an orphan, but an abandon baby. her only clue is this jade pendant that has been with her since young, leading her to the cabaret in singapore. her pen pal who was in singapore tried to stop her from becoming a cabaret girl, but she insisted. life as a cabaret girl for her was not easy. she had to try hiding away from her bf who came to find her all the way from batu bahat, and also to try keeping herself safe from the no. 1 cabaret girl in beauty world.
*fast forward*
on the night of the cabaret's 20th anniversary. trouble came. she had to reject her bf by saying no, she do not know him. in the end, she never find out who is her father, but instead she found out that she is the daughter of a cabaret girl. knowing that background, she felt she was unable to continue her relationship with her bf. but after her bf convinced her, she decide to leave with him back to where she came from.
after that, went to ms clarity cafe with darling. had a pizza, plate of cheese fries, mud ooze and a jug of green tea. filling. after that took a short walk to bugis junction before picking his parents and coming home.
i love you darling. hope you enjoyed the musical as much as i did. afterall, i was the one who wanted you to watch it with me. *hugs*
